We promise to keep your privacy and the data you provide us with safe and secure.
This Policy explains the information we collect about people who visit our website and why we are collecting it, as well as information about how we use it, if we share it and how we keep it secure.
We may update or change this Policy from time to time – you can see the month that the Policy was last updated at the top of this page. Please check occasionally to ensure that you’re happy with the changes. By using our website you’re agreeing to be bound by this Policy.
If you need to contact us about any aspect of this Policy you can do so by emailing us at [email protected], by writing to us at Local Green Points, 141 – 157 Acre Lane, London, SW2 5UA, or calling us on 0207 326 5055.
Who we are
Your engagement programme is operated by Green Rewards Limited, trading as Jump. Green Rewards Limited is registered in England & Wales under company no. 7490327. Its registered office address is The Courtyard, Shoreham Road, Upper Beeding, Steyning, West Sussex, BN44 3TN.
How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you use our website, such as when you contact us about products and services, or when you sign up to and participate in a programme provided by us to your Local Authority.
What type of information do we collect?

The personal information we might collect from you includes your name, email address and postal address. It may also include information regarding what website pages are accessed and when.
As part of a scheme provided by your local authority you may also provide sustainability information including which materials you have recycled etc. We will make it clear to you what information you can provide to us and it is your decision whether or not to do so.
How is your information used?
We may use your information to:
  • Administer the scheme, including sending weekly reminder emails requesting your participation data;
  • Your first name, initial, surname and points total may be shown across the platform, including on the leader board, activity feed (optional), galleries, winners list and other locations;
  • Seek your views or comments on the services we provide;
  • Deal with entries into a competition;
  • Send you quarterly updates about sustainability news and innovation;
  • Notify you of changes to our services;
We believe that these forms of communication are an intrinsic part of ensuring that your engagement in the scheme works efficiently and that we can communicate to you on your activity in the scheme and any rewards that you have earned. Having considered this, we therefore believe that this is a legitimate interest to communicate with you in this manner and such interest is genuinely not overridden by your fundamental rights as a data subject.
You may opt-out of any email communications by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link within each email, via the 'My Account' area, contacting us at [email protected] or by calling us on 0207 326 5055. Please be aware that unsubscribing from the weekly reminder email may reduce your ability to effectively participate in the programme. You can manage your email subscription preferences in the ‘Subscriptions’ section of your account, reached by clicking the ‘My Account’ button in the top right hand corner once you are logged in.
We will hold your personal information on our systems for the duration of the contract that your local authority has negotiated with us. At the end of any such contract, the data will be passed to your local authority for the purpose of integration with a replacement programme.
Data sharing
Certain pieces of information will be passed to your local authority in the course of the administration of the scheme, including the date you registered for the scheme, your name and your address. Other data that will be passed to your local authority includes aggregated engagement data with your individual actions not identifiable.
In some cases, activities that you take part in may necessitate that your contact details are passed to your local authority, but we will make it clear to you that this will happen before you provide the information.
We may also be required to pass your contact details onto voucher providers in order to supply a prize to you. What data we share will be made clear to you at the time of winning a prize.
How you can request, edit or erase the information we hold about you
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you. You can do this by emailing us at [email protected], calling 0207 326 5055 or by writing to us at Local Green Points, 141 – 157 Acre Lane, London, SW2 5UA. We will aim to process your request as quickly as we can and at the latest within 14 days of receiving the request. We will provide the information to you by SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol). We may charge a small administration fee of £10 for any excessive or repetitive requests.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data we hold about you. If you notice that anything is incorrect, or that anything is out of date you can ask for this information to be changed by contacting us at [email protected], calling 0207 326 5055 or by writing to us at Local Green Points, 141 – 157 Acre Lane, London, SW2 5UA.

Automated decision making
For some local authority schemes we may use automated decision making to approve or deny your requests. Information regarding the type and frequency of information and the parameters within which it is permissible can be found on your scheme’s website. If you would like more information about the denial of a request or would like to raise a dispute, please email us at [email protected]. These parameters are periodically reviewed to ensure effectiveness of the scheme.
